VIDEO – Passage in the Privlaka channel in the Mali Lošinj bay Croatia, 20 May 2005

See what the hell is doing with this sailing boat … trying to pass through the Privlaka canal that leads into Mali Lošinj bay in Croatia. Passage not easy even for its shallow waters and with that strong bora wind that can already be read from the video screenshot … The Privlaka channel is a channel that from the east sea connects the bay of Lošinj Small, you come out where there is the customs at the side. The bridge with movable arm, which is seen on the right, is opened at regular intervals to let the machines pass. Navionics with 1 meter of water available, not recommended for larger boats. The maneuver however decidedly difficult, that if not possible would have condemned the crew to go around the island to enter the bay of Losinj is particularly difficult with that wind.
